Tokyo Tower
Located in the Shiba-koen district of Minato is an observations and communications tower having a height of 333 meters which is the second tallest structure in Japan. It is a lattice tower inspired by the Eiffel Tower painted in international orange and white to comply with air safety regulations. Constructed in 1958 the main sources of revenue comes from antenna leasing and tourism. The tower has been visited by over 150 million people till date ever since it has opened. Located beneath the tower is Foot Town which houses museums, restaurants and shops. From this place guests can head for the two observation decks. The Main Observatory is located at a height of 150 meters whereas the smaller Special Observatory is located at a height of 250 meters.
