Mount Whitfield Environmental Park
The Mount Whitfield Environmental Park creates a cool inviting area away from the crowded streets of Cairns. Situated next door to the Flecker Botanic Gardens, Mount Whitfield is home to many wallabies that thrive in this calm, serene rainforest. It takes about 40 minutes to walk from the City Place Transit Mall, otherwise there are buses which run to the Mount Whitfield Environmental Park.
