Tokyo Skytree

An observation tower in Sumida, Tokyo. It is the tallest tower in the world and the second tallest structure after Burj Khalifa having a height of 634 meters. Construction of the tower was completed on 29 February 2012 and the tower opened to the public on 22 May 2012. It is the primary television and radio broadcast site for the Kantō region. The base of the tower is a tripod and the structure has a cylindrical shape offering great panoramic views of the city and the river.
